The PRASAD Project’s Annual Benefit was a Phenomenal Success!

On behalf of The PRASAD Project, I extend sincere gratitude to all who helped make our 2018 annual fundraiser a smashing success! The entertainment was stellar, featuring Kenny Werner’s piano solo and Ann Hampton Callaway’s uplifting rendition of “Let Us Be United.”

Our leadership shared inspiring words on the breadth and depth of the services PRASAD provides to our beneficiaries in India, Mexico, and in upstate New York. The silent auction literally had something for everyone.  A highlight was a sleek, custom-designed surfboard inlaid with Warli art of Maharastra, India.  An added bonus: it came with complimentary surf lessons!  And that is just one of many unique items donated to the silent auction to benefit The PRASAD Project’s programs. I invite you to peruse photos here, and view an event video here.

We deeply appreciate our musical guests lending their extraordinary talents. We thank our generous donors and supporters who joined us in the spirit of celebration and giving. And we acknowledge the tens of thousands of you who participated by watching the livestream. You are all partners in our crucial work.

Sincerely,
Dr. M. Cecilia Escarra
Executive Director
